If you take a look at your Mozilla Firefox History sidebar now, you will see it is not very intuitive and clear.

ThumbStrips is a free Firefox extension that creates a filmstrip of thumbnails so you can see your history, and stop guessing at page names in the history sidebar.

After installing the extension, it adds a toolbar at the bottom of your screen that displays screenshots and titles of the websites that you have recently visited.

Here are the features:

• Thumbnails can be sorted by dragging and dropping them around.
• If you click on a thumbnail the website will load immediately.
• The Thumbstrips toolbar can be displayed and hidden by clicking on a button in the status bar or by pressing “F2″.
• The thumbnail that is created when visiting a website records the screen position as well and if you visit that website again by clicking on that thumbnail, it will display that exact position again.

Thumstrips is a great add-on, that can also help you continue reading pages where you stopped the last time, like ReadItLater.
