PipeBytes is a simple web-based service which allows you to send any type of file with no size limitation, just using Firefox or any other browser.
PipeBytes requires no installation and no upload process: it just connects your PC to your friend’s, and sends the file directly in a private and secure way.
Here’s what to do to use it:
- Go to PypeBytes.com and click “Send File”
- Browse for the file you want to send and push “Start Upload”.
- You will be provided with a pickup code, or simply a pickup URL.
- When your friend pastes the URL in his browser, or goes to the Pickup page and types the code, your computers will automatically be connected, and the file will be transferred directly, avoiding any upload process.
The service is completely free to use and doesn’t require and registration.
